This Privacy Policy explains how Updraft ("Updraft", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the app.

Information Stored on Your Device

Updraft stores gameplay preferences, statistics, progress, and unlocks locally on your device so the app can work correctly. This may include:

• Game settings such as sound effects, music, haptic feedback, ghost trail, reduced motion, and Zen Mode.
• Gameplay statistics such as best distance, total distance, deaths, runs, coins, all-time coins earned, close-call streaks, and last run results.
• Daily Cave state such as the daily seed, your best distance for that cave, and your attempt count.
• Local ghost path data used to replay or compare against your best route.
• Mission progress, seen death types, owned skins, owned themes, equipped cosmetics, and Remove Ads status.

This information is stored locally using device storage. We do not collect or store it on our own servers. You can reset gameplay statistics in the app settings, and you can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.

Advertising

Updraft uses Google AdMob to show ads, including interstitial and rewarded ads. Google and its partners may collect or receive information from your device to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with their policies. This may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers where available, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and usage information related to ads.

Updraft requests non-personalized ads. Google may still use information as allowed by your device settings, consent choices, and applicable law. In regions where consent is required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage ad consent before ads are loaded. Interstitial ads are not shown if you have purchased the Remove Ads in-app purchase. Optional rewarded ads may remain available for voluntary in-game rewards.

In-App Purchases

Updraft offers optional in-app purchases, such as Remove Ads, the Snack Pack, and the Mega Bundle. Purchases are processed by the app store provider for your device, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. The app may store purchase status locally so purchased content remains unlocked.

Analytics

Updraft does not currently use a third-party analytics service to collect app usage analytics for us. If analytics are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that change is released.

Sharing Features

Updraft may let you share death-card results or app links using the sharing tools provided by your device. Sharing is optional and initiated only by you. When you choose to share, the information is handled by the apps or services you select in the system share sheet, and their privacy policies apply.

External Links

The app may open external links, such as an app store page, privacy policy page, support page, or the Updraft website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites or services.

Children's Privacy

Updraft does not require users to create an account and does not ask users to provide contact information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children on our own servers. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can review and delete the issue.

Data Retention

Locally stored game settings, progress, and purchase unlock state remain on your device until you reset them where the app provides that option, clear app data, or delete the app. Information handled by third-party services, such as advertising networks or app store providers, is retained according to those services' own policies.

Your Choices

You can control some data use through your device and app settings:

• Reset gameplay statistics in the app settings.
• Delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
• Purchase Remove Ads to stop seeing interstitial advertisements.
• Use device privacy settings to limit ad tracking or advertising personalization where available.
• Manage purchases, refunds, and subscriptions through your app store account settings.

Security

We use platform-provided storage and app store purchase systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we limit the information we handle directly by keeping gameplay data local where possible.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and make the new version available at this page.
